NEED-BASED TUITION ASSISTANCE
Cornelia Connelly School is committed to providing tuition assistance for college-bound high school students who satisfy admissions criteria, but may be discouraged from applying due to financial need. Approximately 20% of Connelly's students receive tuition assistance.
Families are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance if, after reviewing all financial resources and assessing how much they can afford to contribute to their daughter's education, they determine they are unable to afford Connelly's entire tuition cost. Tuition assistance awards are strictly need-based and do not require re-payment. All applications for tuition assistance are initially processed by the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS), an organization sponsored by the National Association of Independent Schools.
Families who believe they qualify should contact Abby Vanausdoll, Director of Admissions and Tuition Assistance, for more information at 714.776.1717, ext. 234. You will be provided with a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) which must be completed and submitted to the SSS processing center in Princeton, New Jersey. You may also apply online at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss. Connelly's school code is 2608. Additionally, you should submit a copy of your tax return or W-2 form to the Office of Admissions and Tuition Assistance at Connelly.
These steps should be taken by February 6, 2009 for the 2009/2010 school year.
