Orange

Orange
County. In Santa Ana, volunteers cleaned, prepared food, sorted clothing and entertained children at The Catholic Worker; in Garden Grove, volunteers packed food at the Community Action Partnership Food Warehouse, providing over 58,800 lbs. of food for needy families; In Anaheim and Orange, students and faculty sorted and stocked clothing at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores; in Irvine, workers packed food for needy families at the 2nd Harvest Food Bank; in Huntington Beach, volunteers picked up trash and litter on the beach while others planted over 400 small plants to shelter inhabitants of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands; in Tustin, a group boxed over 3,000 pounds of food for the homeless and cleaned the cafeteria at the Orange County Rescue Mission. Connelly's All-School Service Day is a long-standing tradition that reaches out to the community, and promotes values and community service.
