Cornelia Connelly School is a college-preparatory curriculum focused on the individual student and serving her through the college admissions process through guidance, support and advocacy. The college counselor is dedicated to helping students find the best college or university for each student's individual needs, strengths and goals. Beginning freshmen year Connelly students and families are encouraged to attend presentations on admissions topics such as testing, curriculum choices, and admission trends. Starting in the spring prior to their junior year, students meet with the college counselor individually to prepare them to begin their college exploration process. Resources and guidance are provided on topics such as: admission trends, financial aid, testing, college exploration, personal statement development and the application process.
