Lindsay - 2009

What campus activities are you involved in? Senior Class Secretary/Treasurer, Varsity Tennis, Tri-School Theatre, Advanced Vocal Ensemble, National Honor Society, Peer Assistance Leadership, President/Founder of Book club.

What is your favorite class and why?  Honors Algebra II/Trig - freshman year - taught by Mr. Ambrose.  I learned so much and it was a lot of fun.

What is your favorite leisure activity? Piano.  I have been playing nine years and it is really fun as well as being a good stress reliever.

What are your career ambitions?  I would like to be a civil engineer for bridges.

Why did you choose Connelly?  I had a choice between any all-girls Catholic high schools.  I chose Connelly because the atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxed and the academics looked great.

What do you like best about Connelly?  I like the small classes the best.  We all have the opportunity to be challenged and get one-on-one help.  Plus, it is easier to speak out and ask questions.

How has CHS changed your life?  CHS has helped me to be more confident in myself.  I have learned to take new opportunities and expand my horizons.

What is your favorite place on campus?  The Art Room is my favorite place because I can express myself through my artwork and everyone in there is so open and creative.

What is your favorite CHS tradition?  Beach Day.  It is really cool how we can bus the whole school to the beach to spend the day relaxing together.

What is your favorite Connelly memory?  The Choir trip to New York was really fun and we even got to sing at other Holy Child Schools.
